Women have come forward alleging that a Tripler doctor, Blaine McGraw, engaged in improper sexual conduct during medical examinations while at Tripler and at Darnall Army Medical Center (DACH) at Fort Hood, Texas.
National Trial Law has filed a Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) administrative complaint against the U.S. Department of the Army on behalf of Jane Doe 1, a former patient of Army OB-GYN Dr. Blaine McGraw for his conduct at Darnall.
Victims report that Dr. McGraw secretly videotaped and photographed hundreds of patients during medical procedures and engaged in improper sexual touching under the guise of medical care. He also allegedly performed unnecessary procedures and violated Army medical protocols requiring nursing staff to be present during examinations.
Under the FTCA, individual victims must first file an administrative claim with the Department of the Army before pursuing a lawsuit. This will not be a class action.
Sexual abuse survivors often face tremendous emotional and legal challenges in coming forward. Patients of Dr. Blaine McGraw are encouraged to contact National Trial Law confidentially at 866-566-4346 to discuss their rights.
National Trial Law has a nationally proven record of success under the FTCA, including record-setting results in multiple states. This week, National Trial Law filed an FTCA lawsuit in Hawaii for child abuse at a Navy CDC in Honolulu.
